Working With the Template Layout:
You may replace the images in the main image with an image of your own. Note that the
image used is 294 pixels wide. We have faded the right edge of the picture to white,
so that it presents a smooth transition into the text area. If your new image in
taller or shorter than the one used in the template, you will gain or lose vertical space
for the right-side text (the sub-title area)
Tables:
Never drag the table cells to resize them; this will freeze the layout so that it no
longer performs as designed. If you think you may have inadvertently dragged a cell, just
use the undo feature as many times as required to bring your page back to normal. Whenever
your web site layout looks or behaves differently from the original design, it will usually
be from dragging table cells or inserting images that throw off the width of the cell they
reside in. If everything looks "off" you may even have to create a new website in order
to restore complete functionality (name it mynewWeb2 or something unique from the first
web site). That's the beauty of a template; you may create a new web site as many times
as you desire; simply create a new folder with a unique name to place it in, and select
the template icon again, just like you did when you started out.
Forms:
All forms are non-functional. You will need to customize the form properties and publish
to your server before they will function. Right click anywhere inside of the form and select
"form properties" to edit the parameters.
Included Content:
The top "banner" area, bottom "copyright" and menu areas are "included pages." Find
them in the "includes" folder. You need only change them once; the changes will show up
site wide after saving.
